PRACTICAL INFORMATION
We are looking forward to seeing you at the World Art Therapy Festival 2025, to be held from 26 to 28 September 2025 in Prague, Czech Republic.
To make your arrival at the venue smooth and help you get everything ready for the registration badge pick-up and the festival itself, find some practical information below. Please read the following points carefully.
1. VENUE

The venue is located in the city centre, within walking distance of Prague’s most iconic landmarks, including Charles Bridge and Prague Castle.
ARRIVAL FROM THE AIRPORT
Taxi
Official Airport taxi is Uber Airport. Cars are available non-stop directly in front of the arrival halls of both terminals. More details can be found here.
Public transport to the city centre
You can take a public transport bus which departs every few minutes from outside both terminals. Line 100 to Zličín (Metro B-line), line 59 to Nádraží Veleslavín (Metro A-line) or line 191 to Anděl (Metro B-line).
TO THE VENUE
Public transport to the city centre
Take Metro Line A to Malostranská station. From there, you can take trams 12, 15, 20, or 22 and get off at the Malostranské náměstí stop. The venue is only a few minutes´ walk from the tram stop.
2. REGISTRATION
The registration desk will be located on the ground floor near the main entrance – you need to pass the Cafe Hamu to get to the building. Please see the floor plan here.
Please prepare your ID to ensure a smooth and quick badge collection.

REGISTRATION OPENING HOURS
Delegates who have not yet settled the registration fee in full will be asked to pay the amount due. Please note that the registration desk only accepts credit and debit cards (Visa, MasterCard). Cash payments are not accepted.
Please note that badges need to be always worn at the venue and related social events during the festival.
If you lose your badge, please contact the registration desk. Kindly note that the emission of a new badge is charged with a 250 CZK administrative fee. It will not be possible to enter the festival without a valid badge.
The final version of the detailed programme is available only on the official festival website.
ORAL PRESENTATIONS
Please note that it is not possible to present from your laptop in the lecture room due to the technical setup. All presentations must be uploaded online or at the designated desk.
There are two ways how to upload your presentation:
1) ONLINE PLATFORM (recommended)

Deadline: 25 September 2025
We kindly ask you to upload the final version of your presentation prior to the start of the festival to help us ensure the smooth and efficient running of the event on-site.
2) ON-SITE AT THE VENUE
Alternatively, if not uploaded online, you must upload your presentation at the Presentation Upload Desk (next to the Registration Desk) on a USB flash drive at the venue no later than 2 hours before the start of your session. The presentation for an early morning session should be uploaded online one day before.
The Presentation Upload Desk will be located on the ground floor near the main entrance next to the Registration Desk. The opening hours can be found below:

POSTERS
All presenting authors attending the event should bring their printed posters to the venue. There is no need to upload your poster online. Posters will remain on display for the whole event. The Poster area will open on Friday, 26 September 2025, 07:30. Authors are responsible for removing their posters by Sunday, 28 September 2025, 13:00. Posters left behind after this time will be removed and discarded.
AI TRANSLATION
Kindly note that the entire festival will be translated between Czech and English using AI translation. A transcription will be displayed on your phone and on the additional screen in the room, but to ensure a smooth experience, please bring your headphones to listen to the translation as well. Guidelines for speakers on how to use the AI translation will be sent in a separate e-mail.
Please note that your badge will serve as your access pass to all social program events. Kindly ensure you have it with you at all times to gain entry.

Certificate of Attendance
All registered delegates present on-site are entitled to receive a Certificate of Attendance. The certificate can be downloaded from the online registration portal after the festival.
Lunches & Coffee breaks
Coffee breaks are provided during the festival days to all registered delegates in the Klub – next to the Cafe HAMU (please see the floor plan here), which is located in the venue. Lunches are provided on Friday and Saturday.
