Oral Presentation Guidelines & Workshop Guidelines

Please read the following guidelines carefully when preparing your presentation.

PRESENTATION REQUIREMENTS

Presentation in PowerPoint/pdf is required for each oral presentation, while it is optional for workshops.

All the presentations and workshops should be delivered in English. (If you want to present in Czech, please let us know at [email protected] no later than 31 August 2025.)

To prepare your presentation, use an up-to-date version of Microsoft PowerPoint (but older versions are also supported). Please avoid using Apple Keynote and Prezi presentations. The on-site computers will handle Windows versions of PowerPoint only.

PRESENTATION UPLOAD

There are two options how to upload your presentation:

  1. The first and highly recommended option is to upload your presentation via the online platform in advance. We kindly request that you upload the final version of your presentation prior to the start of the festival to help us ensure the smooth and efficient running of the event on-site.

Click HERE to upload your final presentation
    Deadline: 25 September 2025

  2. If not uploaded online, your presentation must be handed over to the personnel at the Presentation Upload Desk (next to the Registration desk) on a USB flash disk as soon as possible, but no later than TWO HOURS BEFORE the start of your session. Presentations for an early morning session should be uploaded online the evening before.

Please note that it is not possible to present from your laptop in the lecture room.
All presentations must be uploaded online or at the Presentation Upload Desk.

IN THE LECTURE ROOM

Please come to the lecture room shortly before the session starts and be ready when it is your turn to present to minimise wasted time. You should be in the lecture room prior to your presentation time in case there are last-minute changes during the session (e.g. cancelled presentation before your talk).
