Dean of Studies and Professor of drama therapy at the Nürtingen-Geislingen University of Applied Sciences in Germany. Johannes Junker has numerous publications and scientific initiatives, as well as projects. He was rector at the University for Art Therapy Nürtingen from 2011 to 2016. He previously, worked a total of 18 years part-time as a researcher, supervisor, and dean of studies for Art, Music, and Drama Therapy at the Arnhem and Nijmegen University of Applied Sciences, the Netherlands. He has also worked 21 years full- and part-time as head of department for arts therapies, as well as a drama therapist at the LVR psychiatric clinic in Bedburg-Hau, Germany. He was five years on the board of the German association of dramatherapy (DGfT), seven years on the board of the German association for art therapy (DFKGT). He is since 2015 the chairman of the scientific ethics committee for arts therapies in the Nürtingen-Geislingen University and he is since 2014 the president of the European Federation for Dramatherapy (EFD). He has studied theology, philosophy in Trier and Frankfurt am Main, Germany, drama therapy in Nijmegen and integrative psychology in Rossum, The Netherlands.
